I am the anti- MacGyver. I have to have the right parts and the right application or I'm not a happy camper. I will not use panty hose in place of a fan belt or ground up tube socks to make a bomb.

Back in the days before McGiver came along and I was a poor struggling student I used to refer to myself as "the master of make due" because of my ability to fix stuff using materials that I had on hand and keep things working long beyond their natural life expectancy.
I guess that's why I went into an engineering related field.

So I managed with a screw, screwdriver, and pliers.
