I recently started working with a guy that I thought was perfect with me. We like the same things, we are close in age (around 30), we make each other smile and laugh. I was really hoping that he would ask me for a date. Then his brother, who also works there, casually mentioned to someone that he has been engaged for a long time. He's never mentioned to me, or anyone else, that he had a girlfriend, much less a fiance. He has talked openly about his marriage and divorce, and how she cheated and he left, so he's not an incredibly private person, but failed to mention that he had found someone else. I asked him what he did for New Years and he said 'The people I was with dragged me to this club that I didn't want to go to.' Talked about hating the music, about being home by 12:30, but not mention of a fiance. I don't think he's trying to be deceitful, but does it sound like there's trouble in paradise? I just can't think of another reason to be so secretive.

I don't mean to imply that he likes me or he doesn't. I was just hoping that he would ask me out. I don't think he's lying to me to spare my feelings. I worked there before he did, and nobody, except his brother, knew that he was with someone. There was a few girls trying to get me to ask him to go get a drink or something after work sometime. I have no problem talking to guys, but am a little shy about asking someone out. We just seem to like the same music, same college football teams, and since we are so close in age, we have a lot in common. Some girl did say that he used to come in before he worked there with a girl that she assumed was his girlfriend and she was about 23. She assumed they broke up because he never mentions her and they haven't been seen together since he started working with us (we work in a restaurant/bar; he's a bartender, we are servers). I do feel like that if he wanted me to know, he would tell. I don't think I'll say anything unless he asks me out

There are two possible scenarios here.

One: He really doesn't have a fiance and his brother was lying to you because either HE's (the brother) is interested in you, or that the brother doesn't like you and doesn't want you having anything to do with this guy.

OR TWO:

The guy does have a fiance and either it's a troubled relationship where he's looking for a way out or he's simply a cheating bastard, which you wouldn't want to have anything to do with.

As the other guy said: PROCEDE WITH CAUTION.

Mention to him that you heard he has a fiance, see what his reaction is and gage your responce appropriately.

besides the actual incontrovertible truth that there aren't any slaughterhouses contained in the states that procedure horses, this is not unlawful to promote a horse to be transported outdoors the U. S. for slaughter so long because the workplace artwork is so as. workplace artwork is typically forged and/or non-existent, inspite of the indisputable fact that the authorities turns a blind eye to this. I worked at an public sale for years, and the pony export organization is alive and doing nicely, even even if it truly is operated on the low. even as for the most area the accepted public sale offered horses to those who in actuality needed a horse, I did bypass abode many nights haunted by what went on there. And sure, I did call for humane treatment, yet some human beings scoff on the idea of treating a horse as a residing respiration animal. for sure, i'm now not there, and neither is the accepted public sale.

If the man asks you out then question him on his current relationships. If any. But proceed with caution because his brother was just talking and it could be gossip, it could be true.

maybe he has come to realize that he likes you more than he does his own fiance' and maybe he doesn't quite know how to break thing off with her because he has gotten too far into the relationship. at the same time, he could be afraid that if he tells you about her, then he could lose you forever.
