If you are prone to poofy hair, try rinsing your hair with cold water next time you shampoo. This helps the cuticle to lie flat, making the hair appear smoother.
Well, cold water doesnt make you fair.I know some who regularly bathe cold water. It didnt make them any fairer.

I'm not sure about the advantages to the skin but I know that rinsing your hair in cold water increases the shine. It makes you fair? Whatever do you mean?

Nothing will "make you fair". However, if you do your final rinse with cool or cold water, it will help seal the hair shaft, causing it to appear more shiny. You can also achieve this affect by blasting your hair on a cool setting with your hair dryer after you are finished styling.

Advantages; cold water forces your pores to close so you can go outside (in the winter) without getting sick. In the winter time, my father always had us girls rinse our hair with cold water (after shampooing) to get the pores to close and then we could go outisde (even in the rain or snow) and we never became sick.
How would it make you fair...............it does NOT change the color of your skin!

I never heard that. Where did you hear that I'm going to try that I wonder if that would help dark spots. I heard milk will lighten the skin if you bathe in it too

It also makes you susceptible to catching a bad cold, and you might die of pneumonia, if the cold gets worse.
And, who on dear Earth would want to become "fair"?
