So if string theory can connect both quantum mechanics and physics together, then what does string theory predict this current place in time is? Such as there was a beginning or is this just an infinite series? Quantum mechanics predicts an infinite series and physics predicts that there was a beginning.

Not clear where you get the infinite series idea. As a former student of QM, I learned no such thing. In fact, the quanta you are talking about, muons, bosons, etc., all had their beginnings just after the big bang. And in that, classical and relativistic physics agree.

Time, in string/M theory is just one of the many dimensions invoked to make the answers come out right. "Right" here means the four fundamental forces of our known universe are unified under the same set of (string) equations. Understand, to date, there have been no experiments to prove or disprove string/M theory. So up to this point, the theory is more a hypothesis (a WAG) than anything else.

String Theory does not predict time as you ask. It is mainly a unification theory that shows a relationship between all the forces in the universe, Electromagnetism, Gravity, the weak Nuclear force and the Strong nuclear force.

11 dimensional string theory has not produced anything.

It is possible that the 7 dimensions of space that are not perceived are mathematical deception, and therefore string theory is a theory of nothing, as you will find if you read the wikipedia article on string theory all the way to the end.

i'm waiting till this is examined. Now that the LHC is merely about waiting, the subsequent few years might want to produce some measurable consequences that ascertain even if string idea and M idea make precise predictions. i have also in no way heard it noted as "God idea." it truly is a unifying idea of physics because it explains the 4 forces, yet that doesn't mean it solutions all of our questions about the organic universe.
