there are three wide lines across each copy with lines appearing in the same place. it was fine yesterday and 1st copy today had the lines. we are a small non-profit and the repair shop 4 blocks away will charge $89 to come over and $80 per hour plus parts to repair.

let it print something with primary colors all over - it will re-calibrate. Also, try cleaning it.

You can try going through the menu on the copier to see is they have a maintenance or cleaning setting in the machine.

If you don't have a user's manual for trouble shooting try calling 1-800-GO-TOSHIBA and ask if they have one available on-line.

It possible there is a problem with the transfer film or drum, but you did not state if it was colour or B/W.
