M*A*S*H. Even though it has been of the air for a long time, I think it still stands up today.

the original The Twilight Zone for writing and creativity. Rod Sterling wrote a lot of the episodes and did a great job. I love this show.

I don't think you can narrow it down to just one
M.A.S.H. great cast the writing was superb they referred to current issues in creative ways comedy, action, romance and heart breaking drama the show wasn't just about a military unit it was about a family
STAR TREK again a great cast very imaginative and entertaining also dealt with current issues in a creative yet subtle way ethnically diverse aired the first interracial kiss drama, action, adventure, romance, mystery something for everyone
ANDY GRIFFITH great family show always entertaining yet there was always a moral lesson to be learned well played well developed characters comedy, drama, romance this show had a certain charm you just don't get today

I'll show my age by answering this question.
I think the best TV show of all time was "The Andy Griffith Show."
The characters were outstanding.
The writing was simple and to the point.
It was a show the entire family could enjoy.
The ending was always upbeat and usually offered us a lesson to be learned.
Andy Griffith and Don Knotts were magnificent.
It's as timely today as it was more than 40 years ago.
There have been many outstanding television shows, but my favorite is "The Andy Griffith Show."

The Simpsons of route! They make relaxing of political stuff and each and each day existence. and far of society is kinda like that, except they exaggerate it to an fullyyt different aspect. like it! lol nicely, that's actual a tie between the Simpsons and that i respect Lucy. Did you spot the episode the position Lucy and Ethel strive against over the showering device! That became hilarious.

Fawlty Towers, only twelve episodes were produced, but the series has had a lasting and powerful influence on later shows. It's a freakin' classic and more episodes should've been made.
