Black men don't know how to act half the time. *lol* For real though, black men always want women who are different from them. I mean different in a social, political, and economic sense. They're always like "I'm gonna marry me a lawyer. I can't stand these hoodrats.". Well guess what? When that fine lawyer at the club finds out you didn't even go to college she's gonna send you packing. Try finding a woman who's more like you. Opposites attract and all that but in the end you'll be happier with someone similar to yourself.

It is always sad to hear questions or comments like this. I am not African American, but I have many African American women friends, none of which are stuck up. I know plenty of people of different races that are stuck-up. I do not know why these women have turned you down, but I doubt it has anything to do with the color of their skin. I wonder when we will modernize to the point where everyone will see that racial stereotyping is just a form of ignorance.

I'm an African American young woman born in Sudan(Northeast Africa) and I don't think it's fair to say that all AA women are stuck up. Our city here has very kind AA women that are willing to be friends with anyone. I'm sorry if all the experiences you had with African American women was not positive, but you have to understand that there are stuck up people from all different types of races, and it could be the situation the AA woman is in that causes her to act this way.

The stereotype you and others have presented are just that. Most are not Bay Bay with a million children either. Those less educated should read African and African American History and that will explain why we are perceived as Stuck up and with good reason.

Women should be more choosy about who they wish to be seen with or affiliate themselves with. All of us are not Rump shaking whores, seen in Music videos nor do we want to belong to The Trashinista Taliban, seeking basketball players, football players and educated men of color in professional areas that are after their money.. .. they generally get what they deserve.

Women of color are an independent lot that have self respect.

Historically men of all colors have raped, beaten, killed, stereotyped attempted to belittle, berate and beat down, women of color and worship the ofay to make them subservient targets for abuse. "Oh baby I could drink your bath water." " Yo, momma"..so you're into incest? Please!

You should take no for an answer and move along.

african american women are not stuck-up; instead of thinking that they are maybe you take the time to figure out what their interest are or maybe instead of coming on to her with a lame line-how about saying "hi, my name is ____"; saying stupid things are a turn off and it will appear that we are stuck up; or check yourself-it could be you and she's turning away on purpose

DO NOT GET ME STARTED...ahhh, that felt good to get out. Now then, 'stuck-up' is relative and 'all' is too 'all'-encompassing. Perhaps the women you approach despise generalizations as much as any INDIVIDUAL.
Word of advice, someone told me a long time ago, race in your division. If you're a "3" trying to hook a "10" make sure you're in for a disappointment or ready to make a LOT of changes in you or filthy rich.
PLEASE don't stereotype; it's right up there with being as politically correct as any discrimination. It's like me asking, "Why do all tall men play basketball and all stocky dudes play football?" They don't.
Bye now Ay caramb...!.

I can't speak for all AA women I can only speak for moi. I'm shy when men approach me and sometimes, it takes a moment for me to feel comfortable speaking with a man. Also, I have met so many AA men who incorrectly approach me ("damn baby, yo azz is bangin" or "'sup lil' mama, can a ni**a get yo digits?") What woman who is upstanding, decent and respectable want to be approached like that?

Maybe it is a man's approach? Sistah's are wonderful the world over ! whether wee be Asian Indian black or Heinz 57~ Maybe that got self respect. Any woman with self confidence and who knows who she is and where she's going likes boundaries crossed or a pushy man. Attitude and approach is everything! Women can smell desperation!

Maybe your approach is wrong or they don't find you attractive or intelligent enough. I know I'd completely ignore a guy who tried to get my attention by saying "hey shorty lemme holla' at'cha a minute". Totally retarded.
