Sudoku is a logic-based placement puzzle. The objective is to fill the 9x9 grid so that each column, each row, and each of the nine 3x3 boxes contains the digits 1 to 9. The puzzle setter provides a partially completed grid so that there is only one solution.

Sudoku is a number placement puzzle based on logic rather than mathematics. The concept of Sudoku is simple. The puzzle consists of a 9x9 square grid that is divided into nine 3x3 squares, resulting in nine rows and nine columns, for a total of 81 small squares. To solve the puzzle, the squares must be filled in with the numbers 1 through 9, each appearing only once in each row, column and 3x3 square.

There is a nine square grid with nine inner squares. You just fill in the numbers 1-9 in each square. You are not allowed to have any more than 1 number per grid and per row but each row and square must have the numbers 1-9 in it.
Quite addicting for some reason.
