Pennington is the best choice. Why would Drew Brees even qualify for comeback player of the year. He only missed the last half of the last game last year. He had a great year last year and another great year this year.....where is the comeback?

a comeback player is someone that was hurt the previous season causing a "dent" in their stats. Brees played most of the season last year, and was not elligable for voting. Pennington was the easy and correct choice this year.

I have to agree... only because Brees came back from an injury that forced him to miss less than a full game, Pennington missed a lot more... Brees was a lot better though, and I mean A LOT!

of course he is he had the second highest qb rating in the AFC. brees shouldent even be considered he played great all of last year, and palmer? was a pro bowler during the rugular season, got hurt in the playoffs, yes he worked hard to repair his knee and had a great year this year but his stats are consistant. Pennigton without a doubt is my comeback player of the year.

Brees shouldn't even be considered for comeback player of the year award. What did he come back from? He played most of last year, and did play well. Pennington is definately my vote for comback player of the year award.

of direction he deserved it! think of if some random QB went to Detroit next 12 months and led them to the playoffs. you will possibly think of it fairly is better than adequate for a comeback award as a participant themself and as a set chief. Pennington did purely that for the 'Fins. go Dolphins!!!

I would have to answer no. The Jets are one team that actually win as "a team". They have no stars, they are not an offfensive jaugernaut and they win by making as few mistakes as possible and playing together. The coach Mangini is the key to this team. He got the most out of the players he has.

ya chad deserves the come back if he stays healthy he has always been a great QB just never stays healthy long enough to show it. As for drew he is just getting started I feel he is too young for a "come back " award , How about blossoming career of the year for drew.

hmmm, its a toss up, but also a trade off. Brees got the saints into the playoffs. Basically awards are for showing off. But how far you take your team is priceless
