Every place that I have worked at the had blue collar workers has that one guy who comes across as someone who used a lot of drugs at one point in his life. Any without fail he is always the one spouting off about his "Legal Rights" in almost every situation.
Why is this?

First off, yes, they are more likely to be the ones having to learn their rights by getting arrested while buying/selling/using drugs. Secondly, the drugs warp their minds to the point where they become arrogant and think they know everything, thus making them believe they know things that they know nothing about.

I think you're all getting it the wrong way round.

Extended study of the law makes a normal human being appear to be a drug casualty.

They have probably had the most "run-ins" with police, etc.
