Did you just start your periods for the first time, hae it for 4 months, and then stop? If so, this is very normal. It can take your body a long time to have regular cycles. If you are really concerned then talk to your mother or another trusted adult. You may want to call your doctors office as well. Just know that it can take a couple of years for your body to regulate.

It u r too young and Ur periods have just started then it would take around 8 months to one year for Ur periods to be a regulated one, It is normal and there is nothing to worry. Don't have sex avoid at this age.
If u r more than 18 yrs old and Ur periods are still irregular consult a gynaecologist.
Regarding Home remedy - Use Iron and Calcium tablets which are must for every girls.

When I first got mine I bled in the toilet non stop like some one stabbed me for about 10 mins. Went to bed and woke with no more blood. Then I didn't get it again until a year later.

Please do go to a GOOD and EXPERIENCED gynaecologist because it could be due to a number of reasons like hormonal imbalance ,polycystic ovarian disease etc.An experienced gynae will check out all possibilities one by one. Please don't try home remedies for this.It is a problem which should be treated as soon as possible and only by a doctor.
