When you have heartburn while pregnant it means your baby is going to have a headful of hair? Does anyone belive this? I'm just wondering because as bad as my heartburn is and this is true, I honestly believe that my child is going to have hair down to his feet LOL Let me know what you guys think

Of course old wives tales are completely untrue...but they are still fun and can make you laugh!
My favorite wives tales are about gender determination.

Well, The 'Old Wives Tale' rang true for me..
I have three children.
When I was pregnant with my (now) 8 year old, I had HORRIBLE heartburn, It got so bad, That I went to the hospital over it, And he was born with a TON of hair.
My (now) 20 month old, I had absolutely NO heartburn with him during the entire pregnancy, and he was born, ALMOST bald.
My 7 week old daughter, I had mild heartburn with her, And she came out with a head full of hair as well.
Lol.

With my first child I had horrible heartburn and she was born with a full head of hair. With my second child I didn't have heartburn and she was born with a head of hair. I am currently expecting my 3rd child in May and have had a little heartburn, so I guess I will have to wait and see.

Not true I had not heartburn with my boys and both needed hair cuts when they were born in fact my second born son had hair almost to his shoulders. My daughter, I had the worst heartburn ever lived off of antacids she was bald for 2 years. But you never know I don't think that has anything to do with it. I just think its the luck of the draw. Lets put it this way, i had horrible heartburn and my son was born with A LOT of hair. So the tale rang true for me. Now, that doesnt mean it could be different for someone else though.

Well I don't know if it is true but I had bad heartburn and my baby had a head full of long dark hair. It really was long for baby hair!

For me it was true with one of my kids. The other 2 girls were as bald as cueballs and I still had heartburn, especially with my last daughter and she has the least amount of hair of all 3.

no old wives tale is true, and if it turns out to be sorrect it is only a coincidence. They are exactly what their name says OLD WIVES TALES.......besides i never had heartburn with my son and he had a 3/4 full head of hair.

Not true, my best friend had heartburn so bad she was throwing up stomach acid and her baby girl was very bald.

I don't know if its "true" or accurate, but I had terrible heartburn, as did my sister and best friend. All of our babies had lots of hair! So its true for us :)

nope im like u with my last i had heartburn so bad and through the night it wasnt even funny...and my little girl had no hair...pregnant with # 4
