Contact the Department of Registration and request a copyright form. You can also check with your Courthouse in your County Seat.

It will cost between $35 and $40 to get your copyright. The form is free.

Good luck

there is something called a poor mans patent, this is where one would send his idea to himself through the mail, and then it becomes yours. but you must eventually copyright it using the tried and true legal system. but the poor mans patent will work for a certain amount of time. long enough for you to get it legally patented.
