Gustave is a 6 meter (20 foot) long crocodile in Burundi, Africa that is rumored to have consumed more than 300 human beings.
Television ads for Primeval have Gustave dubbed a "serial killer" and compared to Jack the Ripper and Zodiac Killer with his non-human status never being mentioned except for a brief line where the narrator says "he's real, but he's not human".
