low self esteem creatures that need and want and desperate for love, attention and sex and they'd go to great measures to get it?
Well news for you!! I'm not like that! I don't care about guys yet I'm straight, I don't care how I look and I do not desire attention or love. Respect yeah but that's it.

Good for you, they don't like me either and have gone so far as to call me a man Please! I'm Straight and feminine..Self Confident and refuse to be a weak kneed excuse of a woman, to make them feel better about themselves! Keep up the good work. All women that are Straight should sue them for Slander...Where's N.O.W?

Probably because there are many reasons for their assumption. Guys are very logic driven, women generally are emotional creatures. A guy sees the world differently and when they go through pubrity they aren't as depressed as lil girls are. They see women hate themselves early on because of this.
Also, many women are raised to believe that they're only purpose is to suit men. They must be thin enough, smart enough, sexual enough, but not too much. They must be so many things in their mind. Men have this problem too, the hang ups are unbelieveable. People are programed to react certain ways. The media, parents, adult figures, all sorts of things show children how they should be.
Everyone will always be stereotyped because the human mind goes with similar reactions, like a chemistry experiment for example. Logically you can base a certain reaction if similar substances and reactions were calculated before. Women are emotional creatures, whether they have certain reactions or not. Many people just assume, when all things are relevant to circumstances.

all of us don't think like that. and yes, i'm very offended. human beings are social creatures, and studies have shown that females tend to show a greater need for love and affection than others. And yes there are exceptions to the rule, but those who say they "don't need" or "desire" attention usually want it the most.
the "great measures" u mentioned are only used by those who are not well versed socially, and are emotionally immature. there are a few of us men who realise this and know how to deal with it. Please remember that.

Im a guy and i dont think that women are weak and desperate, although some women come out to be, simply because they let themselves be weak. I have deep respect for women, and its good if u dont care how u look or what people think about u, u are who u are and no one can change that but urself.

Who are these 'guys' you're talking about? You want to be regarded as an individual, then you have to return the courtesy by looking at each person regardless of gender, ethnic background, religion or age as an individual with different interests, tastes, ideas, etc. Don't make assumptions about 50% of the human population based on a few you may have known. Your question reeks of sexism and there's no excuse for it.

Wait we do well I dated a girl over a year and I never once thought that of her.... And I think that guy should respect girls wishes I know that pressuring them and thinking things like that will just push them away............ It depends on the guys... And the girls. Sorry! But don't make the mistake of separating people into girls and boys. Others did that for you. I guarantee that you 'll find stupidity and gentleness in both. 'Cause it' s not a matter of gender.
