I am 60 yrs old and retired. My husband is still working. I lost two of my husbands to cancer. The man I married is a good guy but due to being a diabetic there are things he can not do. And yes I am very much sexually active. His life is his work, when he's home, he's tired. We never have time together outside of eating out and visiting family. He also is 60. I have tryed all I know how but it isn't working. Not for me anyway. What we do have is a sexless marriage which I thought I could handle at my age. Guess I will have to live life as though I am happy with it. Thanks!

Toys can help you, but not really fix the problem. Maybe try taking the lead and put on a romantic evening, throwing out all the stops. Try wearing a very slinky nightie, candles everywhere. Leave messages on his phone building up to the evening. Maybe some sexy pics of yourself to tease him before hand. A sexy striptease. These things might help.
Tell him how you feel if this does not work. If you don't feel loved or fulfilled he isn't holding up his side of the partnership (he has husbandly duties, just like you have wifely duties). Sex and making your spouse happy and feel good about themselves is as important as taking out the trash. And this comes from a man's perspective.

I feel for your situation and I respect your honesty. Talk to the doctor there are many things that can help a sexless marriage. Also may I speak bluntly? Go to the Adult book store and purchase toys.

I am 52 and faced this issue in my 40's with an ex...notice I said EX....it wasn't just the sex issue..... it was an abusive issue...
If you can communicate with him ....explain your concerns and needs and see if he will address them on his own.
There are doctors who can help with this but If I am not wrong some meds reduce libido, and if I am not wrong diabetes can as well due to poor circulation. ask him to have a physical and see if there's anything that can be done.

Have you tried talking to your husband i think you should just sit down and talk to him because maybe you will start thinking that you regret marrying the man and be depressed. Good Luck.

i to am in the same situation. i am 59 and my husband is 62. same thing is happening in our lives as well. he works 15 or 16 hours a day.i have just learned to live with it,although sometimes, i must admit its not easy
