I honestly think that he's ugly. He USED to be good looking in his Cry Baby days but now, he looks like a creepy old man.

Well, I have to say that I have become a Johnny Depp fan. However, I must admit that this was not always the case. In fact, I really didn't like him that much at all. However, in some of his later works I came to realize that it wasn't Johnny Depp that I didn't like, it was his characters that I didn't like and he played them so well that were totally believable. Also, I am not a big fan of Tim Burton and I also came to realize that Johnny Depp has been a victim of Tim Burton's writing/directing on more than one occasion.
If you want to see Johnny Depp in a more dramatic role I highly recommend "The Libertine". Caution: It is definitely meant for a more adult audience, so you kiddos will probably not appreciate it.

I am a great grandmother of 71 and yes I still like to look at handsome men like Johnny Depp. Johnny reminds me of the good old days. He is an excellent actor. I think he is a mysterious nice man. I just adored him in Johnny Brasso.

Johnny Depp is probably one of the best actors out there. In POTC I seriously see him as Jack Sparrow, whereas Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley are still themselves. In movies like The Secret Window and Edward Scissorhands, he was able to get into character amazingly. If I were in his postition, I would probably be slightly irritated that so many people put so much emphasis on my looks when I was such a wonderful actor.

Of couse hes beautiful....but thats not what matters. He is such a good actor....i mean seriously i can't think of any one of his roles where he didn't act well. He's amazingly great!

i think that depp is a pretty good actor, but he is NOT HOT!!! sorry all you people who think so, i just don't. i must say i loved him in "who ate gilbert grape" and "edward scizzorhands", but he was scary in "charlie and the chocolate factory" and he was o.k. in "pirates of the caribbean"

I think he's an excellent actor. He refuses to allow himself to be "typecast," and he takes a lot of chances.

He's a great actor, he's good looking and he lives in france with his wife if I remember well. lol.
