Be honest but give it a professional sound. If you're applying because the company or location are cool, state that you're "attracted to the high-quality reputation and unique image" of it. If you're applying because of the money, you could say you're interested in "challenging opportunities" that you anticipate "a company of this calibre" could present (big rewards in exchange for hard work).
Basically it's attitude -- they want to know if you have a good opinion of them and how well you'd describe them. They also want to know how ambitious and spirited you are. They don't want to hire anyone who doesn't give a hoot about working for them, so if you don't really care (ie "just looking for any old job"), you'll fail this bit and are unlikely to get an interview.

It all depends on what the job is and what industry you're working in, to be honest! Tell them why you want to work in that industry, any experience you've got, etc. Research the company on the Internet and see if there's anything that sets them apart from their competitors that makes you like the company, and read the job description thoroughly - that way you can pick up on parts of the job you think you'd particularly like and let them know why. Good luck with the application!

If you have heard good things about that company then you can truthfully tell them that. Or if you have a positive viewpoint about their products and good working conditions then tell them that. They like positive energetic, enthusiastic people-so smile a lot too and think of some intelligent sounding questions to ask them before the interview. Let them know you are interested in the company and it isn't just another job to you. Also it would help your chances if you researched a bit about the firm too and drop interesting statistics you have learned in your research into a question you ask them. Good luck.

State things that you think are great about that company, like their work / service, environment, opportunities/ clients. You have to flatter them and also mention about environment conducive to personal development.
Also see below for reasons you want to leave your current company and join them...
I feel that in my current position I have progressed as far as possible, the person above has only one more year experience / is only one year older etc and there is no where for them to move at this time. I feel that your company will be able to provide the right environment for me to grow and become a bigger asset to your company by using my skills. Then give a brief overview of skills.
Good luck x

Look at the job description and pick things out from your CV that will put you in good stead for the role. Give actual examples of your experience in each instance. Very importantly, mention a couple of facts you know and like about the company, do you research on the internet.

First I would find out as much as I could about the company/firm. From that info I would pick out key words/sentences and compile your answer, but also think seriously as to why you were drawn to this type of employment. Be extra careful with spelling, paragraphs and general composition layout. Your answer if done correctly and honestly it should take a few hours. Always remember, how you feel will show in your answer.l

Well, what they are looking for is not why you want to work, but why you want to work FOR THEM. Find out enough about the company and what they do to get excited aboiut it, then write about that. If you're just applying because you need a job, they're probably looking for someone else.

Tell them you need the money to feed your crack addiction and pay your child support ...
... or you could answer the question properly. I am assuming you actually have some reasons for wanting the job or you wouldn't be applying. So write them down.
Would you like me to check your grammar on the application form for you? Not meaning to be rude ... I just like proof-reading ...

Yes apply for all three, give your test and interview to them. Ask about salary and check the environment. Check if there is a chance to increase your salary and experience, and select the one which is offering these better and quickly than others. Steven McGarry UK Solicitor
