Unless he starts breathing down your neck or kissing your ear, don't worry about it. Tell him you are very interested in it yourself. Suggest that you get together after work to talk more about it. I have also found that giving them a nice wet kiss on the lips will make them change the subject, unless of course I am very interested in it.
