Lets see what happens after he comes back from retirement. That will be a true test. The steelers are one of the top organizations any coach would be lucky to be a coach there.
Cowher is one of the best current coaches lets wait a little longer on history

No. Second tier maybe. As far as current coaches Cowher doesn't even come close to Billichick not too mention the greats of the past (i.e., Lombardi, Landry, Shula, Noll).

Absolutely. You gotta love his look on the sideline and is one of the greatest strategist and the greatest motivator of all time. Now that he got the ring he is up there with Shula, Landry, Lombardi,etc. I look forward to him coming back in a year or two.

Highly undoubtful - I think that Knute Rockne former coach of the University of Notre Dame will retain that title for as long as football is played in this country. -

I wouldn't put him in the Shula/Lombardi category, but he's definitely in the next tier.
