At this time of the year, the Philippines is 14 hours ahead of Central Time. So if it is 9:30am in Detroit, it would be 11:30pm in the Philippines. In the summer, the difference becomes 13 hours.

http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/meeting.html

Enter the city you're in (Detroit) in the "place #1" slot, and the place you want to call (Manila) in the "place #2" slot and go.

The website will show you corresponding time & date for the two places for a 24 hour period.
