in the beginning, like you just thought you'd NEVER get used to this or that about them. Then after time passed, you found that you loved them enough to overlook it?

I live with my BF & we been living together for forever & man sooooooooo many things rub me the wrong way, but I know I AM right (lol), I love him enough to swollow my pride but am often stressed out. My biggest fear is that he'll leave one day & it's over & i'll feel like "Dayum, after I put up with all this shish" you know. But I do love his ***, even though he is a headache most of the time!

I lived with my husband 3 1/2 years before we got married. 23 years later I'm still trying to overlook things about him, and I assume he's doing the same for me.
Yes, love does help you get past the little things. At least in our case it has.

"Yes!!!" As a matter of fact I spent, 1/2 my life with who I thought at one point was going to be my life Partner!! Until he got on drugs!! And that's when I devorced him and I have no regrets!! Its been almost three (3) years since we've been devorced, and he hasn't changed one bit, from his lifestyle!! So, I'm the better person for doing me & our children a favor, by getting out of that Abusive Marriage!!! And we're all much happier for it too!! Smile!!!

My husband is 10 years older than me, had a previous marriage that when horribly wrong and ended up with a delinquet son who is now 12 and will probably be in jail in the future. He robbed us, on my birthday.

I take Paxil every day to deal with it.

I'm still waiting to see if I "get over it" or divorce him.

Absolutely. Getting used to each other and having patience is a big part of a relationship. Along with good communcation, trust and respect, most relationships work out just fine.

Just make sure your expectations are clear to one another and you work together to make things successful.

Pretty much everytime. You notice little annoying habits and things you never knew before, (but remember, he is noticing those things about you, too). Time eventually works these things out.

with my ex husband-at first it was ok then after awhile EVERYTHING HE DID annoyed the crap out of me. i couldn't stand him. Now with my fiance he rarely makes me feel that way. he is so helpful around the house "most of the time". so whatever he does i usually blow it off.
