I only get my period about every 40 days as well. And my doctors know that and have never said anything about it. But I also had trouble with a pregnancy last year and lost both twins and as far as I know there was no connection to my period. OK I know that didn't help much, but you are not alone =) On a positive note, one of my best friends only gets her period once every 3 months. It's been that way sense we were young. And she just had a baby about 2 1/2 months ago and he is fine and they had no problems at all!!! If you are worried about it, I would suggest bringing up to your doctor! It will help put your mind at ease!!

Cycles should be between 24 and 35 days apart. If you are consistently more than 35 days, I would see your doctor. It's possible that your hormone levels are imbalanced. The only way to know would be to have your blood tested.

I surely have in no way heard of somebody's cycle being that some distance aside. If i've got been you, i could purchase an ovulation try on the drug keep, or ask the wellbeing care expert for some start administration pills to get your physique on a nicely-known cycle. better of success!

It can be normal. Everyone is diffrent. You must learn your body so you can tell the signs of being menstral. When all else fails.. use a condom.
If you are trying to GET pregnant.. use an ovulation meter.
