Yes, it's completely possible, but extremlely unlikely. They would just have to evolve to have gills and fins, etc. It's kind of weird that mermaids have been depicted all around the world in artifacts for so long if they don't exist. So maybe they do. =]

Genetic manipulation in the future could create aquatic humanoids if we chose to do so but I doubt we'd give them a fishy tail.

nothing can be disproved untill u dont have a proof of disproving it..

We have aquatic animals having lungs(dolphins), , we have land animals (snake ) have scales , we have salamanders and frogs who can live in water or land

ne thing is possible

mermaid in earth maybe difficult to find ,, but who can say they dont exist in a planet very far from our earth

It is not possible. They would be half human, half fish... That does not exist. These are two different species.
