Violet! I never even considered this name before but it is so pretty!

I like Phoebe as a girls name. It's actually one of my favorite names. Phoebe Josephine is my sisters full name - she loves it too, cause her friends call her PJ, which she thinks is the coolest nickname ever. :)
I like Jack for a boy - it's short and to the point. Plus, no kids can really make fun of a Jack. I've seen Sean pronounced as seen - I personally prefer the spelling Shawn, I've seen Oscar's been called Oscar the Grouch. I've seen Noel's called Santa. :) Jack, to me, is a cute name.

It is important to consider middle and last names, too. You don't want to create an awkward full name or initials. Like my childhood friend, Kara Cell - carousel? Get my point. Otherwise, I like Erica and Sean. But then, sometimes it is easier to pick once a child is born based on looks and personality. They will just strike you as someone who deserves a certain name.
