Ok two questions. 1) Is it harmfaul to take pain killers on an empty stomach? 2)How can I lessen paina nd crams from mentrauls? Aside from hot water bottles.

1) yes, take them with skim milk and a couple of plain, boring crackers. Whole, 2%, or 1% milk with cramps just holds up in your stomach and may make you up chuck.

Ibuprofen can sometimes damage your stomach lining. It's usually best to take it with food.

I take Midol or Pamprin. You can also go to a doctor to get stronger medications than what you can get over the counter. Also, a hot bath is a good idea. Physical exercise helps me too. Drink lots of fluids. I know my best friend likes to use a hot pad on her abdomen. That really helps her. Hope that helps.

Dont take pills on an empty stomach....better taking them in the middle of the meal, because this way, the absorption will be faster
Second...pain during ment. drink cinnammon..(i m not sure if the spelling is right) it is the BEST thing to cure it.....hot cinamon...and half an hour of relaxing...moving....a little bit..and everyting will be ok

eat something or drink a glass of milk. move around a little relax your muscles it will helps with the cramps. i usually take a lot of long hot baths . also i sometimes take 300 low does ibuprofen. it works for like 6 or 8 hours.

Don't take pain killers on an empty stomach. They are hard on the lining of your stomach. Walking is a good to stop cramps and it slows down your period plus you don't have to take a lot of stuff.
