Today unveiled as the healthiest city in U.K, its also the gay capital - do you think there is a connection?

Sea air, plenty of seafront promenades and public parks to jog in, lots of money around and that usually goes hand in hand with healthier lifestyles.

People down there also like having fun and enjoying themselves. That too is conductive to good health.

The city has a tolerant, anything-goes atmosphere so people probably feel much more positive about themselves, and more free. They are not 'victims' to the type of narrow-minded judgementalness you get in other parts of the country. The result (intangibly anyway) less stress.

Not really. The fact is Brighton is a wealthy city. Wherever there's money, there's long life. Gay or not.

I doubt it but maybe they look after themselves better, Brighton tends to be quite hip and trendy though so I imagine their all eating organic and vegan and all the latest fads
