You would be less likely to get a false negative if you wait until Jan. 10, or Jan. 13th ideally. Regardless, I recommend First Response, which is one of the best on the market for detecting early pregnancy. Use first morning urine and don't drink anything a few hours before bed the night before you take it.

Also, you can buy them in 2-packs or 3-packs in case you can't wait to test and want to re-test in a week or so.

Well, the first response do say they can detect HCG upto 5 days before a missed period. BUT they don't always work like that. Fertility friend says 12 days after ovulation,... if you know when that is. I'm on clomid, so I thought by taking a test today (i'm also due on the 10th) that it might be positive, but I was wrong. So I would say either wait until the day you are suppose to start or the day after. Also I find using the equate (wal-mart brand) test to be more accurate though.
Good Luck

No the test will not be accurate now because you haven't even missed a period yet. The pregnancy test has to pick up the pregnancy hormone to get a positive result. Waiting at lest one week after a missed period should give you correct results.

Wouldn't be very accurate...i would wait till the 10th. Because even if you take the test now, and it said you WERE NOT pregnant, you still could be. I wouldn't wast you money.
