I am not saying there isnt any in other counties,but man...I didnt know that racism is so present in the USA

America was founded on Racism (or more specifically, White Supremacy.) All of the racial issues stem from this.
The founding forefathers were called "White Supremest" who had no intentions in having people of color in their space. Abe Lincoln never dreamed that America would integrate her black slave and the founding forefathers are turning over in their graves.
This system was set up a long time ago and it was set up to be run by white people. How many generations of white presidents have we had? This is by design. What is the percentage of whites in government in high ranking positions compared to non-whites?
Racism is as American as Apple Pie.

Racism in the USA can be traced to the institution of slavery and the tactics used to justify enslavement of Africans. It has been self-perpetuating (as hatred tends to be)
BTW, race (i.e. black, white, red) is not a biological factor, but a social and political construction. Dr. Charles H. Long suggests those constructions were created as a consequence of the slave trade. Prior to the slavery, people were known as French, Ibo, Iroquois, etc.
Linda Sue M - Lincoln did not sign the Emancipation because he did not approve of racism. He signed it because of political and economic factors (the Industrial Revolution in the North vs the economic institution of plantations and slavery in the South).

O.K.,First you are not an American,I am so I tell you like this. As,others stated America was build around racism. The pilgrims who landed on Plymouth Rock in Massachusetts took the land away from the Indians as they moved West and killed them. Then,they enslaved Africans and stole them from their own land to built this country and take care of their children while, selling black children. During several wars they stood back and watched as others killed people concern minorities and example Hitler killing Jews. Alot of white America has always been racist and alot of black America has been racist because of the way they have been treated for hundreds of years.

Yes to a degree, tho I am not. Yesterday while driving thru Hollywood I saw a billboard for the new Eddy Murphy movie with a very very big black woman like he fell on top of her with also some sort of negative comment such as, 'what did i get myself into?'. They both had big ol' smiles on their faces.
I thought to myself if it was a white man on top of the black woman, the movie would have created an uprising as racist.... if it was a white man on a white woman it would have been considered out of line because she was so very big... If it was a white movie star it never would have made the screen.... and they would be considered racist...
YET why on earth can eddie murphy a black man do a movie with a picture on the billboard like this making fun of this Fat Black woman???? To me this is also racist in accordance with the way everyone seems to be judging racisim these days. Why don't BLAK PEOPLE STAND UP and help stop the racist cry... please..?
By the way Black Rage... FYI, it was Abraham Lincoln who initiated and signed the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863... to put and end to and stop slavery.
If you are speaking of the ILLEGAL ALIEN ISSUE ... there is more to it and it really is not racism at all as some will like us to beleive... it is a matter of our financial economy... taking care of so many illegal aliens will very much harm the infastructure of our nation and the kids growing up today will be hit hard... like no social security and way higher taxes. Someone has to pay for it... it will be X-gens pocketbooks and anyone born after them... so the illegal alien is not a race issue at all... it is far more serious than that.

We have a mix of cultures living together that is unprecedented in the history of civilization, so obviously there is going to be some racial issues. I think it's actually quite amazing how tolerant of a country we are. The vast majority of Americans work with, hang out with, etc. people of different cultures regularly. Don't let the Yahoo trolls influence your opinion of Americans.

There's no racism in the U.S. You must be thinking of somewhere else. I just left the world peace meeting and nothing was mentioned about racism. That stop as soon as slavery ended!! Wake up!
