no, if they did were would of won the 2006 world cup n they have only won it once so how can they be the best the best team is actually brazil(won 5 wc), then italy (won 4 wc) n then followed by germany (won 3 wc) n the french league isnt even in the top 3 leagues in the world the italian, spanish n english league r. if ur talkin bout 1 of the best teams in 06 then yes france were one of the best teams but overal from throught the ages no sorry there not the best team in history

whoa hold your horses, present day the the 1998 were a team, TEAM being the operative word, but argentina from 1978,brazil,from 1970, even the dutch in the seventies were better than france.
