it was not the best game of the last century but I agree it was the best game in the last ten or twenty years. The last five mins of the game were awesome. Last night they replayed the game and the last play the Statue of Liberty you could see three of the OK defensive team players just frozen. It was the best college game I have seen. Boise State deserves a co share of the National Championship Trophy. Given all things considered we must remember that first and foremost the college player are there at the Uni to get a education and they are not yet PRO. Having played at the college level and having two children who both played Division 1 Sports in college I have seen and played alot of games. That was one hell of game. Pure sport . I also got a kick outta the kid proposing to the cheerleader after the game. It was so holidayish and heart warming. Another side of the college game we rarely get to see.

Are you crazy with the heat. The 2003 season when Ohio St. beat Miami for the national championship with the game going into double overtime is one of the best college football games in history. The Boise St./Oklahoma matchup doesn't even come close.

Since the century just started 6 years ago, I think we need to wait a decade or two before we start naming things "The Game of the Century."

It was a very exciting game, but it did not have much significance. Had it been for a National Championship or a Super Bowl than you might have a valid case. As it was, it was two Medici teams playing in a non consequential bowl game.

It's too early in the century to know.
