"...So why're you sad, don't you know that it's you that haunts my dreams and seems to always comeback..."
I'm really having a hard time picking my quote and song/band this year....
please help me out....

I will gladly give you 10 pts. if it's helpful.
ps.you CAN list more than 1 song and it's phrase... please do list more than 1 song and it's phrase.
thanks.

I have a couple, and they are pretty random and somewhat corny, but whenever I hear the phrase i get goosebumps.

First: the phrase "she's always on my mind" from "Round Here" by the Counting Crows. It's just some random part of the song and it has nothing to do with the chorus, but it's always been my favorite part of any Counting Crows song. I tend to rewind and listen to it over and over.

Second: the phrase "you kissed me like you meant it" from "Hands Down" by Dashboard Confessional. Again, another random phrase that has nothing to do with the chorus, but it give me chills.

Third: the phrase "'Kathy I'm lost' I said, though I knew she was sleeping" from "America" by Simon and Garfunkel. Great line in a great song.

Fourth: the phrase "I will be with her tonight" from "Tyler" by the Toadies. More about the way it's sung than anything, but gives me chills every time.

Fifth: the phrase "21 and your mother still makes your bed" from "Captain Jack" by Billy Joel. Doesn't give me chills like the rest, but it did strike a chord with me when I WAS 21 and my mother WAS still making my bed. (I was living at home while going to law school, so i wasn't THAT much of a loser, but meaningful nonetheless).

I guess i'm seeing a bit of a theme here in that four of the five are about love found/lost. I guess i just learned something about myself. Thanks. Good luck with your phrase, hope these help.

okay, maybe this is corny but it means a lot to me-
I often feel intimidated or not important but my hubby always encourages me and lifts my spirits- he often hears songs and then makes a cd for me- the most recent song that makes me smile from the inside every time I hear it and has been an encouragement to me this year is
"the world" by Brad paisley
"...to the world, you may be just another girl, but to me baby you are the world!"
"you say your one in millions, but you're one in a million to me!"

And enough headache
I've had so many ups and downs
Don't know how much more i can take
Ummm
See i've decided that I cried my last tears yesterday

(Hook)
Either I'm gone trust you
Or i may as well walk away
'Cause stressing don't make it better
Don't make it better no way
See I decided that I cried my last tears yesterday

(Chorus)
Yesterday (yesterday)
I decided to put my trust in You
Yesterday (yesterday)
I realized that You would bring me through

(Hook 2)
There ain't nothing
To hard for my God, no
Any problems that I have
He's greater than them all, so
I decided that I cried my last tear yesterday

(Chorus)
Yesterday (yesterday)
I decided to put my trust in You
Yesterday (yesterday)
I realized that You would bring me through

(Hook 2)
There ain't nothing
To hard for my God, no
Any problems that I have
He's greater than them all, so
