Erosion involves both weathering and transport. So erosional product cannot be deposited over the parent rock. Moreover, the sediments produced by erosion cannot be converted into rocks, unless they are buried under considerable depth.
However, the secondary material produced by parent rock under certain special condition is called laterite.
And loose unconsolidated weathered bedrock is called regolith.
