It would be great of some of you could provide me with resources. All of the answers that I have gotten so far have been very interesting. Your differentiating points of view are insightful. Also, what do you think that we women can do to unite and stop all of the jealousy and strife?

The same way that men do; by using derrogatory remarks, degrading them, making them feel guilty or as though they are not good enough to succeed. Women must be strong emotionally to actually advance in today's society or they haven't got a chance in hell to make it.

Women in the workplace act like evil b*tches and view their female co-workers as competitors instead of colleagues. That is why alot more people find men easier to work with. Maybe when women stop playing mind games things will change.

Women are jealous, plain and simple. They do not like to see other women get ahead of them, so they are the first one to step on another womans head rather then let her rise up.

Ever read the Phyllis Schlafly Report on the Eagle Forum homepage? It would be funny were it not so sad.

As long as there is feminism, there will always be feminists who degrade any woman who does not cop their feministic outlook on life...to include (but not limited to) having a career, degrading men, pushing masculine values while playing down feminine ones, pushing the pro-choice POV concerning abortion, etc...as well as being willing to degrade other women who refuse their feminist agenda.

Such women, when they are not well informed, can be made to feel inferior by such feminists and will often be passed over for jobs and promotions.
