If you looked at my other question... my cousion is having a baby, i'm thinking about Abby, do you the French meaning?

I know that Amy spelled the French way is Amie, so maybe Abby spelled the French way is Abbie. I hope this helps a bit, good luck!

Sorry, but I don't believe that there is a French version of Abby or Abigail, nor a French meaning. You should look on some French baby name sites and see if you can find something similar.

It's not a French name it's Hebrew. The closest French name is Abreale or Abrial which means open in French.

The name Abigail is Hebrew and it means "Joy of the father".
the name Abby is English and it means the same thing.
I don't know what you mean by "french version"
