Well, the best way to help him is to go to a doctor's appointment with him and express your consider about his health and him not taking his medication. Hopefully, the doctor can give you some ideas on how to help when your friend is not taking his medication but in the end you can only help someone who wants to be helped. Good luck!

If he doesn't care about himself he must think about his poor child, rushing all the time to hospitals is the life he wishes to her, he must think seriously of this and it's not worth it!!! all what he has to do is taking the medication it's not a big deal!!!

unless he is mentally challanged nothing, he is an adult making a conscious decision on the state of his health. Just like you can tell a smoker to quit but they won't until THEY make the decision to do the right thing.

Hmm, very serious!

You must talk to him.

Ask why he isn't taking the drugs and counter everything he comes up with. Until he sees the light.

One solution only: motivation.

What would motivate your friend to take his drugs? Has he got children that he would like to see grow up?

His girl friend and friends cannot be responsible for making him take his drugs. He needs to grow up and take care of himself. For his girl friends sake.

He may need to be institutionalized for a while, and forced to take them...he needs counseling at the very least.

Explain to your friend that if he does not have his own best intrest at heart then you don't want to hang around to see him destroy himself.
