I hear that Mac OS X starting with Tiger has multilingual capabilities, do they include Russian as one of the languages? If so would you then be able to configure an alternative user account for a Russian version and how would all of that be done? Also would it then be possible to configure the preferences so that upon login the keyboard is automatically configured to Russian for that account?

All Mac OS from 1997 have come with multi-language software. The first offerings were called "Language Kits" starting with OS 8.5 but, in fact, most of the language kits were backward compatible with OS 7.5 and some were backward compatible to System 7.1. All Mac OS X installations include multiple languages by default although I always do a custom install and uncheck all of them except English and Simplified Chinese to save almost a gig of drive space.

Yes, all of the language setup is user-based so whatever you setup will be for that user, not for other users. To setup Cyrillic language option, you will need to use the System Preferences > International pane. The key areas are under the Language tab and the Input tab. You'll need to click on the Edit... button to add Russian, and, yes, it is written in Russian so you should be able to read Russian or you won't know which to choose. So just get in there and work it out. Nothing will break, comrade.

Xp is better as fas as classes, video games and materials available. a mind-blowing loose fantastic Linux dist. is Ubuntu linux. Installs in minutes and has the Vista seem yet does not crash as lots and is loose besides as its infinite style of appz. Its easier to run XP on a MAC.
