Truck was running fine. Pulled into the driveway for lunch and then it never started again. Check engine light has been coming on and off for a while, now it just stays on.

Truck has never overheated, has 60,000 miles, has showed check engine light not showing hot.

it`s hard too guess at these problems..it could be anything like hydro lock torque conveter bolt or nuts come lose broke flywheel no oil in engine broke connecting rod I don`t know without seeing the vehicle take it too a shop

You have a blown head gasket.
Water from the cooling system leaks past the head gasket into the cylinder. As soon as the piston comes up it tries to compress the water above it, which by the way it can't, and the piston stops. Thus, the engine stops turning.

Figure somewhere in the area of $1500 for repairs.

I see you have experienced overheating with this truck before, so I agree.....it's probably a head gasket.
I can save you loads of money if you're anywhere near me...

Crankshaft, driveshaft or transmission is my guess.
