I don't have a PSP, but I did hook up an Xbox 360. You need an ethernet cable and you either hook it up to a router (if you have one) or to the modem. You will need a dsl or a cable model. And with the xbox, it pretty much took care of the rest. I would only assume that a PSP would do the same. Most technology is similar these days. There should be instructions in the manual.

When you got your PSP you should have gotten a cord not your charger though. Most of the time its a USB port. One side is for your PSP the other is for the computer.
