Does anyone know who sang this and what (if not fish heads) it's called.
I saw the video for it on 'whistle test' a couple of times in the early 80s and have been singing it ever since, but no else has ever heard of it and thinks i've made it up

A big thank you to evryone who's replied to this, I'm glad to see this song means so much to so many. I was expecting the usual replies like 'dunno', 'you're an idiot', 'thanks for the points' etc
Due to the responses here I have located an album called 'voobaha' available from play.com (currently out of stock but on order).
My 25 year search is nearly at an end.

I'm almost sure it has to be Dr. Demento...used to listen to him on sundays out of Salt Lake City...what classics!
Artistic masterpieces like "Duck Butter", and my all time favorite, "My baby's got rabies, but I don't care" ....ahhhhhh....memories....

Gotta love Dr. Demento. I used to listen to him all the time, and "Fish Heads" was always one of my faves. Edit: And the stupid thing is still as funny as it ever was. "Roly Poly fish heads are never seen drinking capuccino in Italian restaraunts with Oriental Women." I gotta grow up. Next year.

Dr. Demento used to plat it on his radio show in the eighties and nineties. I don't know the name of it, but at least I know you didn't make it up.

I used to hear this song on "Dr. Demento's" radio show in the 80's but I don't remember what the origin is. Wow, that is a blast from the past!
