to see a boy throw a rock at the window.Instinctivley,you duck,but the rock shatters the window and hits you before it falls to the floor.The boy takes off running,but the peoplepick him up later.What are the torts you called reasonably claim the boy committed?

Hey Alicia. I went to your questions section and I notice you're having a bad time of it with people more or less actively and violently invading your space. Since these questions are posted in the psychology section, I guess you know that you're not likely to get professional legal opinions here. I'm not a lawyer and the questions you ask are kind of specific in that regard. The tree branch the robbery and this nasty kid are all clearly wrong. Laws vary from place to place so for that reason too I can't give a reliable answer. But, speak to the police and/or a lawyer ASAP. Save all the evidence. I hope you find justice and the world keeps you safe and treats you better in the new year.

I would think just assault and battery. Assault, because he obviously intented to intimidate the person (provided he saw the person sitting there) and battery, because the person was stricken by the rock. The other two, I'm not sure. Was the boy on the property when he through the rock? Or is it trespassing because he through an object onto the victims property, in a way, extending himself onto the property?
