most of my party games include a quarter and a shot glass! Even at my own co-ed baby showers I was the only one without a buzz! Now, my girlfriend and I have to throw a more traditonal shower and we're not sure what to do! Any ideas?!

Baby food tasting... Whomever is hosting the shower, removes the labels, numbers the lids, and keeps a list of what each one is. Then each person takes turns tasting them and writing down what they think they are. Yes, it's easy to figure out fruits from veggies, but not necessarily what type of fruit or veggie. Also, get some of the dinner ones, those are harder. Make sure to have a video camara because you definitely get some interesting and memerable reactions. And my baby shower was not boring at all.

I like the one where you have to guess what is in the baby food jars. You buy different types, like peas, green beans, squash, carrots, you know the pureed type, as long as they look alike. Give every one a piece of paper, pencil, and let them have the entire length of the shower, except the last 20 minutes to figure out what is in the jars, at the conclusion gather the jars, with a list of what is in the jar, because you have removed the labels, and numbered them for reference. Give them to the Mother to be, and the Mother to be will present the winner a small gift, in turned to be given back to the mother, but be sure in case the recipient isn't the giving kind that it is something they can take home. Maybe hand cream, or lotion.

None; I hate games at baby showers. By the time everyone visits for a few minutes, food is served and the guest of honor opens all the gifts, two or three hours are gone. Games are unnecessary and a bore, so I would pass on them.

I think most people hate baby shower games, let alone having to be there. I am a mom and I was bored at my own.

The funniest weirdest one I ever participated in was the one called Diaper "Doodie" Duty.
We had 10 small diapers and in each diaper there was a slice of chocolate candy - Mars, Snickers, Clark Bar, etc, and we had to write down on a piece of paper what chocolate bar we thought the "doodie" was.
Men were at this shower and we caught one of them sampling the "Doodie" to figure out what kind of chocolate it was.
