I would say yes this is normal because she is very protective of her unborn babies. When bunnies are pregnant it may change their personalities. My bunny was very skittish before she had a litter and then she was really nice and cuddly after they were born so I think it made her nicer. But in your case it may be the opposite.Just give her space and she will probably calm down.

Yep! Territory is one of the biggest things bunnies really care about. When they thump their back feet, that is also a territory warning. Mama bunnies are a bit ferocious at times... can nip you and certainly lunge at you if you get near their nests before the babies are born. If this is her first litter, don't be surprised if she isn't the greatest mom... watch for the birth and put the babies back in the nest... she won't hurt you if you touch the babies and she won't ignore the babies either. Many moms fail at their first kindling, but make great moms after that.

Yes, bunnies do make noises. Our will growl or grunt softly usually to tell us to stay away.

Yes. Some female rabbits are veerrrrrrry protective of their young, and will growl and make it apparent that they don't want you anywhere near their babies. They will also squeal, scream, and make a noise that sounds like "vvvvvvvvt!"
