yea I know. Dont like it.
I can forgive a first series seeming a little formatted but they must have been so desperate to cling to mainstream status, and lucrative dvd sales they never evolved the show much. End result is it falls flat for everyone now. Can they really expect people to laugh at the same joke 100 times over? Or is it just plain laziness? No Character development or anything. They should have noticed what the league of gentlemen and even the fast show did with their shows.
Come on guys were all still waiting for you to do something REALLY good with little Britain.........................................
Untill then buy Boxsets of stuff that is still funny after first viewing instead.

You are absolutely right, I was waiting for somebody to bring this up.
What has happened is it used to be on after the water-shed on BBC7 (and prior to that it was a radio show). But now the good old BBC have have toned it down for prime time viewers.
All good things come to an end unfortunately and by filming it abroad they were just wasting licence payer's money. The fun of it was having a pop at little Britain not America!

I know what you mean im getting quiet bored of it right now.
plus when i watch a comedy i normally dont mind watching it again and still finding it funny, but once you have seen an episode of little britain i cant be bothered watching the repeats their just not funny enough.
They need some new characters and get rid of them man boys their crap!!

The second part was funnier, or maybe I was just in a more generous mood. But I fell out of love with LB a long time ago - too repetitive, too much grossness and not clever anymore.
They should bring back Rock Profiles, it was a million times better!

well past its sell by date im afraid, the first few were funny but now its lost its appeal.
when we were all younger and had the likes of benny hill, kenny everett, frank spencer, fawty towers they were timeless classics you could watch time and time again but most of these new comedys dont have the same appeal to last.
yeah green wing is funny so is shameless and a couple of others but every other programme nowadays is poxy reality or so called (i once took a phone call from a weatherman) celebrity shite shows! if nobdy watched them then they wouldnt continue showing the crap! bring back the old skool stuff.
sorry rant over!

all things no matter how funny they are run out at some point. think of all the comedies that we now hate cause they were re-ran over and over or just kept making boring episodes. it happens i guess, but they've finished making little britain series for a while i believe? either way we all get bored of stuff when it gets repetative

It's the same with all catch phrase based humour, remember the Fast Show, how funny did that used to be? Now a lot of the catchphrases have passed into everyday speeh it has lost its magic.

Agree - was good to start with but in typical British style, we have hammered it so much to death that it is now rubbish and boring.
Only Ricky Gervais deserves any credit for stopping The Office when he did and going out on a high.
