If you say you don't need Him, then you believe He exists. If you do, why would you say you don't need Him? Isn't He the One who determines your destiny? Doesn't He have the authority and power to do as He pleases and to send you to Heaven or Hell? It is foolish to say you don't need the One who is your Creator, who loves you and has provided the way for forgiveness of sin. You need God because only He can cleanse you from your sins.
What do you need? Are you really doing that well without God? Are you happy with the way things are in your life? If you aren't, then you need Jesus. And even if you are happy, you still need Him, because you can't take what makes you happy with you when you die.

I believe in some sort of superior energy force or god as you call it, but It does not determine my destiny.
I believe my destiny is in my hand, and yes things happens that is out of my control, but it is still up to me how to live with those situations. I hold me responsible for all my action. I do not use God as excuse for my short comings or faults.
It is how you choose to live your life that makes all the difference.
Give love unconditionally, help others in need without expecting any return from your god or any one else, don't hurt any one intentionally , respect your enemies and learn more about them, you may find out they really not that different from you, and you will see your destiny pretty much is in your hand and no other.
God is man's creation to have that element of hope when he or she is in desperate scenario, or to have something to blame when thing goes wrong.
Gods name and man made religions were a power tool for many dangerous minds through out history and today to control simple people like me and you.

Dear God has tons of utility so we keep him around in our collective minds. Here we are with this pretty much standard construct we call God among the monotheistic religions. Serves us in ethics,society, military, child rearing and countless other processes. Time effort and money is well spent maintaining and spreading the system of belief. We willingly host him in our collective minds. After all, God is the only concept you cannot submit to unwillingly.
He needs you and me for his survival, we need him for his services.

no, do know if she/he exists....nobody can know that for sure(if you say you can know that I think you should be committed),
I am a former christian.......my life is awesome...I am living my dreams......You my son are wasting your life and your breath......if there is a god as you say then I fully believe that hwne you die he will cuff you on the back of the head and ask you why you didn't actually live when you were down here and send you back with a tougher life sentence

God gave me the gifts of intelligence and free-will. I put those gifts to good use every day.
God is with me always and I am grateful for His presence and support. But I make my own destiny and my own way in life. And I am responsible for the results.
