It is very unlikely that the tampon fit in her urethra, where a female urinates from.
In all likelihood, she did not insert the tampon far enough into her vagina and so, she contracted her muscles to urinate, the tampon was dislodged. A good rule of thumb, you should not be uncomfortable or experience discomfort wearing a tampon. If this is one of the first times she's worn one, then she probably did not get the application correct. The vagina is where women bleed from during their period. It is the "middle" hole, if you will.
She could talk with her mother, physician, or school nurse if she needs. There's no need to be embarassed or scared- this is a natural process of growing up and believe you me when I say we were all unsure, timid, and have funny, "My first tampon experiences," ok?

Well, yes, there are 3 wholes as you put it. you cant fit a tampon into your urethra or pee pee whole. you would know if it was up your butt. so yea, she had the right whole. My suggestion here is when your friend goes to the bathroom to just go ahead and change the tampon. it becomes a cleanliness issue if you dont. Just because the package says that you can doesnt mean that you should. Just judging from your question your friend may not be ready for tampons and should just use pads.

First of all, let's grow up a bit.
It's called a period. That other thing is a tampon.
The three "holes" are the urethra, the vagina and the rectum.
If the tampton did pop out of her vagina when your friend had a bowel movement, then so what. I assume she used another one. Maybe she did not insert it correctly, or far enough.
I advise you and your friend to get an anatomy book to learn more about the female body . A good one is "Our Bodies our Selves". Good Luck!

I don't think that it is possible to insert a tampon in your urethra. the tampon is too large and it would cause tremendous pain. The tampon goes into the vagina. If it "shot out" it probably just wasn't inserted correctly. The third hole is your anus and I'm sure she did not insert it there. Find a biology book and look for an illustration of the female anatomy.

Hmmm. Although you have more than one, when you "push" sometimes the tampon comes out. While on your period the vagina is very lubricated, making the tampon easily able to slide out. Tell your friend to get a larger size of tampons, but not one that is uncomfortable. Another thing to do is to take out the tampon before using the restroom, it makes you more comfortable. She did not put it in the wrong hole, believe me she would know!

i would be very surprised if she put it in her urethra (the first hole). you would need a tampon the size of a toothpick, or a very stretchy hole. it would also be very pain full.
however, your friend could have a wide vagina, and depending on what size she used, the tampon could have been too small. when you pee, your muscles let go and so the muscles holding the tampon in could have released as well. i suggest that she use a bigger size tampon.

It would be very painful if she put it into her urethra (where you pee from). Really, really painful. So I doubt she put it into the wrong one. She could just have really heavy flow, some times the tampon can just pop out if that's the case. Change it more often.

Sounds like maybe your friend didn't insert the tampon correctly. It goes in pretty far, and if inserted correctly, shouldn't cause any discomfort, or come out on its own.

Unless she stuck it up her butt, their is no way she got it in her pee hole. You may tell her she needs a larger tampon. Sometimes they do slide out when they are not changed frequent enough.

Trust me if she stuck it in that hole she will know it. It is like having a catheter up there. It would burn like fire. More that likely she just didn't insert it in her vagina right in the first place.
