The secret is lemon juice. Subway Classic Tuna Recipe By : Serving Size : 6 Preparation Time :0:00 Categories : Salads And Dressings Fish And Seafood Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method -------- ------------ -------------------------------- 2 cans tuna in water, canned -- (12 oz) 1/3 cup mayonnaise 2 tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp salt There isn't much more to this than the usual mayo, but it does have a tad bit more, so to make it Subway's here it is: Mix all ingredients in a bowl and stir to break up chunks of tuna. Chill till it gets really cold. Subway usually puts two "scoops" of tuna on a 6" sub. Add whatever other subway veggies you like on yours. This makes enough for three 6" subs.

Subway,if sticking to the franchise recipe prepares the tuna salad with lots of mayo- which is fatty.Wheat bread is a good choice and keep it at six inches...a footlong is far too much sandwich.

Make sure to request the Lite Mayo. It helps out calories a lot and they usually grab the regular mayo I've noticed.

Tuna is a very high source of protein. If you get vegetables on it, you are having a good meal. dont get too much mayo though, thats the weightgainer. They dont include condiments on the nutrition facts napkin.

Well don't listen to alex n! No, only several sandwhiches are "healthy" at Subway. And thats without mayo or cheese. The rest are riddled with fat. And even the "healthy" sandwhiches have 2500mg of salt--your entire daily allotment--in the foot long. But Subway meats are vile so why would you eat there? F Jared.

Tuna is good for you plain, but once they add all that mayo, it's pretty fattening.
