I very much enjoy watching the Colbert Report and the interesting guests that he has on. His dialog seems to indicate to me that he is obviously not happy with the current administration and that change needs to be made. However, many of his guests either don't pick up on his sarcasm or for some other reason indicate in their conversations with him that he may lean Republican. I think that he is basically operating under the same strategy that the Daily Show uses when John Stewart speaks with his "correspondents" with the exception that Colbert's guests do not rehearse what they talk about. If you had to place him in a category politically, where would you? Personally I would consider him a clear thinking, intelligent individual who entertains his viewers by forcing them to examine the issues affecting their lives and come to their own conclusions regarding them. What do you all think?? Happy New Year!!!
