Pretty much like an overprotected and spoiled child - we have bailed them out so many times, they don't feel any need to actually do anything for themselves anymore.
France was still debating whether or not Hitler was a genuine threat to Europe when the Nazis came marching into Paris.
For all practical purposes, the Islamic terrorists have defeated Spain, and Spain doesn't even seem to realize it.
Apparently, at least to date, England hasn't forgotten the lessons learned when a credible threat is made - when a group of demented radicals decide they are the chosen ones and believe world domination is their birth right.
It's give a whole new meaning to the old saying, "You're either part of the solution, or you're part of the problem."
There is no room in this war to be a fence sitter.
If you think you can just kind of wonder up the middle of the road, sooner or later you're going to get run over.

Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11...
And by the way, there are many European countries involved in Iraq and Afghanistan, many Europeans have died to support a war that had nothing to do with us and because of this war the entire world is almost starting another major conflict, which who knows how it is going to end,but honestly,I don't think that is going to have a optimistic outcome...

Sorry, we just have 2000 years of history...
We know that Iraq had absolutely nothing to do with 9/11...
(By the way, French are in Afghanistan since many years to fight the Talibans...)
PS : If you're so motivated, take your gun, go in Iraq, and find the WMD...

Well, those despicable acts of violence were not instigated by the ordinary Iraqi civilians and soldiers but by cowardly and crazy terrorists who most likely do not reside in Iraq anymore. Going to war with them does not resolve anything and the increasing death toll of both American and Iraqi troops seem unnecessary.
[Edit] Iraqi Deaths: The Iraq Body Count (IBC) project's figure of 52,297 to 57,871 civilian deaths up to 31 December, 2006 is compiled from English-language media reports and includes civilian deaths due to insurgent/military action and increased criminal violence. IBC: "It is likely that many if not most civilian casualties will go unreported by the media. That is the sad nature of war."
U.S. armed forces: 3,003 dead. 22,565 wounded in action, of which 10,107 were unable to return to duty within 72 hours. 6,640 non-hostile injuries and 18,183 diseases (both requiring medical air transport). As of January 1, 2007.
PS. The Queen has little, if any, influence in British politics, and she earns her own dough from renting out land on Oxford Street apparently.

Europeans have had centuries of war. They're sick to the back teeth of fighting. There's more important things to life than blowing each other up.
When America grows up as a nation, you'll understand better.

I believe they are gullible & mislead by some people in their goverment as some Americans are by some of our goverment. Unfortunatly it will take another 9/11 to get us all back on the same page, I pray it never happens though.
