There are some idiotic responses to this so I win respond...

I am a huge Broncos fan...

But we cannot argue that the Broncos are better than any AFC team in the playoffs. Could they beat them? Sure. But they could also easily lose to any of them. As for the "disaster" switching Plummer out. That is simply not true. Cutler played far better than Plummer did and even though the Broncos missed the playoffs they are setup far better next year than they would have been had they made it with Plummer--he is not the answer.

The defense will be fine. Injuries to the secondary and Al Wilson as well as Jay Cutler cost the Broncos dearly in the 49ners game although they still should have won the game and therefore don't deserve to be in the playoffs.

There is no doubt in my mind the Broncos will be back in the playoffs next year; however, they really have no shot at the division (although they have a very easy schedule) because San Diego is just flat out better.

Oh, just a side note to the KC fans: congrats on the playoffs (which you did not back into because you WON your game, all of that talk is ridiculous) but you are not going to win the Super Bowl as every fan seems to be declaring.

The Chargers, Ravens, Patriots, Colts, Saints, Bears, and Eagles are all better teams.

Although if you do not allow Green to pass and just hand it to LJ you might have a chance against Indy.

I believe Denver is a better team than either the Jets or Chiefs. However, Shanahan's decision to bench Plummer was a disaster. The Seattle loss can be traced to this. However, the main problem with the team was the disintegration of the defense. It is time to replace the head coach.

I'm sorry but Kansas City is the better team. They should have got the bid and they did. They proved it when they defeated the Broncos 19-10. Chiefs will be in the Super Bowl. Mark My Words.

40+ year Denver fan here. I thought they had SF when it was 13-0 but like so many times this year our D blew 4th quarter leads (not a good enough pass rush I think). Liked what I saw in Cutler though so we'll have next year to look forward to.

I think they are all hiding after choking it away vs SF..they should of just ran the ball and let the clock roll, all they needed was a tie to make the playoffs.. Shanahan has to finally go in my opinion.

yes! well i think it stinks! we just need to learn how to win the easy games. i think we need to get our offensive line back together too. and no chiefs are no were near a better team. they got lucky to even be in the playoffs. and they wont last long.
